Enjoy different landscapes on the way to the east coast. Bargain at Friday market. Swim in the Gulf of Oman. See the oldest mosque in the UAE.
On this tour you will see an interesting change of scenery, from city life to colorful desert landscape to spectecular mountains. We are driving through the emirate of Sharjah with its agriculture area of Al Dhaid. Here the locals grow fruits and vegetables in greenhouses. Our first stop will be Friday market. This market is every day in the week. It’s called Friday market because in the past it was only held on fridays. The market is popular for carpets, pottery, handicrafts as well as fruits and vegetables. Continuing along mountains and wadis, dry riverbeds, we arrive at the oldest mosque in the UAE. Al Badiyah mosque was built in the 15th century. Our long lunch break in one of Fujairah’s beach hotels will give you a chance to swim and snorkel in the gulf of Oman as well as relax and eat lunch in the restaurant. On the way back to Dubai we will have one short stop at the beautiful Rafisah dam.
