We are passing the desert and mountains on the way to the east coast of the UAE. When we reach Kalba you can enjoy a stroll in the mangrove centre or a walk on the beach. In Fujeirah is one of the biggest forts in the country. In Khor Fakkan can we have a lunch break and we learn a bit about the beduin culture and how they survived in the past.
Kalba and Khor Fakkan are parts of the emirate of Sharjah and located at the east coast of the UAE.Sharjah is the 3. biggest Emirat in the country and a very famous trading hub because it has one huge port on the persian-arabic gulf and one on the gulf of Oman. From Dubai we are driving along side the desert and the mountains. Our first stop is the mangrove centre in Kalba. Here we can walk through mangroves. When we drive to Fujeirah with it's massive fort. Seeing the biggest oil storage along the way we will reach Khor Fakkan for our lunch break. In the Heritage Village we can learn about beduin life and how they were able to survive in the past.
